Assembly

Assembly Instructions


Most of our cycles are pre-assembled and need some basic preparation before riding. Please follow this guide and the manufactures handbook - supplied with the bike. All assembly tools are included with your cycle

  • 1. Unpack your Cycle - remove from box/unwrap and take all protective cardboard wrapping off.
  • 2. Insert Handlebar Stem - remove plastic cap and insert into headset top. Ensure you tighten handlebar retaining bolt.
  • 3. Insert the Front Wheel - Best Done with Bike level on the ground- Ensure wheel nuts are tight.
  • 4. Put Pedals on - Carefully observing Left and Right hand side (marked on end of pedal thread) and visually based as if sitting on the bike. Ensure you tighten the pedals.
  • 5. Put saddle on & seat pin in cycle - Ensure Saddle bolts are tight, Put Seat and Seat Pin in cycle and tighten to the correct height. Ensure seat pin is in the frame to the minimum seat post mark (marked on seat pin)
  • 6. Connect Front Brake - The brake system either disc or V-brake offer a release mode and will need the cable reattaching and may need adjusting - Ensure brake block bolts are tight front and rear – Please note that some BMX models may need the Brakes Setting Up and Adjusting before riding.
  • 7. Fit Any Accessories - Items such as stabilizers, bottles, dolls seats - or any after market accessories such as Lights, Mudguards, Locks, Cycles Computers etc - Ensure the included reflectors and bell are fitted. Some Road Bikes may need bar tape fitting please email if you require this doing prior to dispatch.
  • 8. Inflate tires and Test ride - You may find some basic gear adjustment is needed either straight away or after a period of riding.


All cycles are sold with a manufactures handbook which contains further details on the setup of your cycle. Ensure you read manufactures manual as this will contain further information specific to your bike.
