For the DHX 5.0 Air, the ProPedal Adjustment Mechanism has been Re-Designed for 2009. Now you can Simply flick the 2-Position Lever in 180 Degrees from Light to Firm. Length - This is the length of the shock and is split into two halfs, The First Number is the overall Shock Length or Eye to Eye measurement , this can be taken from your old shock or you can measure the distance between the shock mounts on your frame. The second number is the Stroke Length and is the amount the shock can actually move, The longer the better with this but some frames are designed for smaller stroke lengths. If unsure or the size you need is not listed select as Custom/Other and supply the Cycle Model Details we will do the rest

Cycle Model Name : This is so we can supply the aluminium mount kit which spaces the Shock between the frame. We need to know as much information as possible so if you can supply the Make, Model and Year of the cycle you wish to fit the shock to, Leave the rest to us.

Spring Weight :With a Air Shock this is Set Up using a High Pressure Shock Pump to fill the Main Chamber of the Shock up with Air to the Correct Sag Height. Ideally this should be just under 1/3rd of the total shock movement when rider and all riding kit (Helmet, Hydrapack etc) are sat on the saddle with all body weight placed through the bike.
